Calibration Service Comet has an in-house testing lab to provide M-214 and Rule 1 gage calibration to the railroad industry. Gage calibration is performed to include trace ability to the NIST (National Institute of Standards & Technology), in the event a gage is out of tolerance and can no longer be calibrated, replacement gages are available from Comet. In addition to the gage service, we can perform calibration of torque wrenches, air pressure gages, and calipers.
