Comet Communications & Signal, Inc. was founded in 1963 after identifying the need for a Kansas City-based company that could supply, install and service the area's railroad microwave communications network. Comet's commitment to service, both locally and in the field, built a strong reputation for Comet throughout the Midwest. Since that start in 1963, Comet Communications and Signal, Inc. has been supplying the rail industry with communications and signal and related services. Over time Comet has evolved, keeping pace with technology in order to meet our railroad customer’s needs.
